Not sure if you really need a test?
Be on the lookout for these signs:
- Missing your period
- Your breasts are tender or sore
- You feel like you’re peeing more often
- Sometimes you feel like throwing up
- You’re having mood swings
- You’re more tired than usual
Not everyone experiences all these signs, but according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services these are typically symptoms of early pregnancy.
It kind of boils down to this: if you’ve been sexually active and missed a period… take a test.
Remember – only a healthcare professional can confirm a pregnancy.
Regardless of what your intentions are for the pregnancy, whether you’re thinking abortion or continuing the pregnancy, confirming it is important. You may even want to have an ultrasound to confirm the pregnancy is in the uterus and is living. The ultrasound can also determine how far along you are in your pregnancy.
Wondering where you can get a lab quality pregnancy test and ultrasound performed by a healthcare professional?
